Training

Here at Family Resource Centre UK we have been providing training services for families, schools and businesses for many years.
We provide relevant, informative and interactive programmes that are delivered in an understandable way, enabling our users to get the maximum benefit. All training programmes are tailored to meet a group’s particular need.
Needs range from key skills required to get back into work and family finance, to bespoke tailored programs for schools and businesses. We have recently developed two volunteer training programmes, school governor training sessions and an Outreach training programme.
These bespoke training programmes are delivered by our experienced facilitators and are backed up with well researched training workbooks, reinforcing the work and providing valuable post-training learning and information.
As well as providing client training sessions, we can provide “train the trainer” services, again backed up with training work books.
Examples of training programmes include:
- Training for volunteers and professionals working with children and young people with special needs
- Training programme for volunteers and professionals within a third sector organisation
- Induction training for new staff and volunteers
- Outreach training
- Developing a functional and efficient Outreach in the community service
- Family Finance Advisor’s training
- PAFT (Parents as First Teachers) training for parents
- Focusing on finance programmes for school children
- Recession Impact training sessions for school governors
- Counselling skills training
