Family Information Service

The Family Information Service is a government led initiative designed to improve the lives of children and their families, by requiring local authorities to provide trusted and current information on family services and providers.

Family Resource Centre UK currently provides the Family Information Services for Reading Borough Council and West Berkshire Council.

The Family Information Service is designed to improve the lives of children and their families, by providing for local authorities, trusted and current information on family service providers.

This is a FREE and impartial service providing information for families with children and young people up to the age of 19, either directly through our extensive database of providers or referrals on to specialist sources of support.

Our free service provides the most up-to-date information for families ensuring that the information they receive is always for currently registered providers, eliminating any possibility of details of providers suspended or resigned (who are no longer Ofsted registered) being sent to them.

Pre-schools
After school clubs
Breakfast clubs
Holiday clubs
