Family Resource Centre UK is an independent charity; registered in 1990 we have over 20 years experience working with families, children and young people. We work with Local Authorities, businesses and other voluntary sector organisations providing an award winning family information service and various projects including our fast growing ‘Great Opportunities!’ disabled events project.
Today, the charity seeks to support families under stress, protect children from harm and promote the rights and interests of families, children and young people. The money we raise from the public allows us to develop projects and services to help families, children and young people regardless of background, religious belief or ability.
Our work
Last year, Family Resource Centre UK had over 10,000 enquiries and helped provide information through our dedicated and knowledgeable charity team and put on over 35 events, made possible by our passionate and devoted volunteers.
Our vision
Family Resource Centre UK’s vision, is that all families and those who have children with disabilities can be empowered to improve their lives and reach their full potential, by receiving the best services and by getting involved in events and projects which can enhance every day life.
Family Resource Centre UK’s mission and purpose is to break down social barriers, empower families and whole communities to achieve their full potential by meeting their needs and giving people the opportunity and tools to flourish. We aim to make a better world for families and children through our projects and services to support families, change lives and build futures.
